Hello fellow x-planers! I used some of forkboys OrthoXP tiles, and I enjoyed them in Florida. I tried to install his Cali file a couple of times, and I had trouble. It gave me time to realize that it's probably faster and more practical to just make my own tiles. The problem is where do I download the actual program? I was able to find python easily.

Has anyone done this install recently? Any thought on this route vs just using HD Mesh vs downloading all of Forkboys hard work? I mostly need to know where to d /l Ortho 4XP. Is this why people just like to d /l Forklboys giant files? I'm battling just using HD Mesh and skipping the photos for a while. I have Mesh installed and adding new areas is a snap now. What's your opinion? I remember struggling with Ortho4XP at first, but now I can cut my own tiles with custom zoom levels, shortcut them on different drives and more. Once you get used to the method, it's like second nature. I'll help you out if necessaary.
